Three decades in estate and trust law
Colleen Cacy is a partner with the firm and has practiced in the area of estate planning and taxation since 1995, with a focus on complex estate and trust administration. She received her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1986 and holds two Bachelor's degrees from the University of Kansas, graduating with distinction in 1983.
Prior to moving to Tucson in 1989, she worked as an associate for the firm Streich Lang Weeks and Cardon in Phoenix.
American College of Trust and Estate Counsel
Colleen was selected in 2013 to become a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel — an invitation-only honor recognizing the top trust and estate attorneys nationally. In 2023 she was named as a Southwest Super Lawyer.
Bar Leadership
Colleen is a past President of the Board of the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council and has served as Chair of the Executive Council of the Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar of Arizona. She is also a member of the Pima County Bar Association.
